CPD thanks area company for donation

Clinton Police took to social media this week to thank Clinton-based Powder Cote II for its donation of funds that allowed the CPD to purchase needed tactical gear.

The donation was used to purchase ballistic plate carriers for the CPD’s Special Operations and Response (SORT) Team. The carriers are worn over an officer’s shirt while on tactical callouts and other emergency situations.
