ACS: Pre-entry temperature checks to end

The Anderson County School system says that after recent recommendations from the Tennessee Department of Health, officials will no longer be taking students’ temperatures in the morning as they arrive for class, beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, February 16th).

In a social media post announcing the change in policy, officials write, “Parents have been doing an exemplary job of self monitoring students and very few students have been found with a temperature during this process.”
