For the second time in less than a month, deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at the home of 32-year-old Jesse Gene Lambert on Ellison Road in LaFollette on Monday morning.
The CCSO says that at around 7 am Monday, deputies raided the home as part of an ongoing investigation into the alleged sale of drugs from the apartment. Undercover investigators say that they purchased what is believed to be heroin at the residence.
The CCSO conducted a similar raid at the home on July 21st.
During the raid, investigators located and seized drug paraphernalia, including digital scales and plastic baggies, as well as drugs believed to be heroin, meth and Xanax, from inside the apartment. Lambert was arrested and taken into custody in connection to the items found during Monday’s operation. Sheriff Robbie Goins says that he will also be facing charges connected to the undercover drug buys, and that “charges are likely against additional subjects based on the evidence collected and previous buys of narcotics from the residence.”
The seized substances were sent to the TBI lab for testing, and Lambert was taken into custody without incident.
