Update: Autopsy on OR woman found dead in Kentucky inconclusive

Authorities in Laurel County, Kentucky say that a preliminary autopsy has failed to determine the cause of death of 28-year-old Tearsha Laws, the Oak Ridge woman whose body was found in a remote wooded area north of London, KY Monday afternoon.

There were no obvious signs of trauma and the autopsy did not shed any light on the cause of her death. Investigators are continuing to work as they await the results of toxicology tests, which will likely take about six weeks.

Laws’ body was found late Monday afternoon down an embankment in a rural area of Laurel County.
