Farragut 49 Clinton 21: The Dragons’ disappointing season officially ended Friday with a road loss at #4 Farragut. The Admirals closed their season with a record of 9-1, 4-1 in Region 3-5A, good enough for second place and a home playoff game this week, while the Dragons concluded a 1-9 season that saw them go 1-4 in District play. Farragut led 35-7 at halftime but both times they built a 35-point lead in the second half to start the “continuous clock,” the Dragons fought back to make the clock stop in between plays.
Luke Harrison went 15-of-23 passing for 156 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Two scores went to J’Quan Thomas, who closed his career with nine catches for 111 yards, and S.J. Powers, who capped his career with three catches for 28 yards. Ro Hardin gained 73 yards rushing, while J’Kobe Hardin added 39 and Josh Breeden tallied 36 yards for CHS.
Farragut outgained CHS 459-314 on the night.
