Truck runs driver off road, keeps on going

Authorities in Anderson County are looking for the driver of a truck that ran a car with a woman and three kids inside off the side Foust Carney Road Wednesday night. The incident happened at around 10:45 pm and witnesses say that the truck veered into the lane of travel of the car, forcing it in to a ditch and damaging the vehicle when it sideswiped the car. The driver left the scene without stopping. The woman and the children were examined at the scene by Anderson County EMS but were left with only minor bumps and bruises. The truck is described as a red or maroon pickup that will likely have damage on the driver’s side and possibly black paint from the vehicle that was struck.
