NASCAR Xfinity Series Saturday at Indy

NASCAR Xfinity Series Saturday at Indy…Kyle Busch stalked race leader Ryan Blaney on the final lap Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and when Blaney wiggled coming off Turn-2, Busch took advantage of the opening and drove away to his second win of the season. The margin of victory over Blaney was nearly a half-second as Busch notched his seventy-second career win, extending the series record he already owns. Rookie Daniel Suarez finished third with Paul Menard and Elliott Sadler completing the top five. With Busch’s victory, Sprint Cup Series regulars have now won four straight and thirteen of the eighteen X-FINITY Series races contested in 2015. Busch started from the pole and led a race-high fifty-three laps. It’s his second win in three years on the famed two-point-five-mile Indy oval … Saturday’s race kicked off the second half of the X-FINITY Series schedule and was the second round of the “Dash for Cash” promotion. Eighth-place Regan Smith was the highest-finishing eligible driver, collecting a one hundred thousand-dollar bonus and qualifying for the next round next month at Bristol – along with Blaney, Suarez and Sadler.
